At Johnson Matthey, your work will matter. As a JM LEAD Graduate, you’ll join a world leader in platinum group metals with over 200 years of history. Using advanced metals chemistry, you’ll help tackle the world’s biggest challenges - cutting emissions, powering modern life and supporting life-saving technologies - by applying, refining and recycling metals that matter for a healthier, more sustainable, circular future.

The role: As a JM LEAD Graduate, you will help drive our goals by: • Completing three rotational placements over 2.5 years across key business areas including Science, Commercial and Operations. • Leading and supporting business-critical projects that improve performance, sustainability, growth and operational excellence. • Collaborating with colleagues across global teams to deliver solutions and build broad business understanding. • Applying technical and analytical skills to solve complex challenges and identify opportunities for improvement. • Building leadership capability through structured development and exposure to senior stakeholders. • Contributing to projects that create value through innovation, efficiency and continuous improvement.

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role: • Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Environmental Science or a related discipline, with a minimum 2:1 classification. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply technical knowledge in practical settings. • Demonstrated leadership potential and a genuine interest in developing as a future leader. • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a collaborative approach. • Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity and take ownership of deliverables. • Geographic flexibility and willingness to travel or undertake assignments across JM locations.

Even if you only match some of the skills, we’d love to hear from you to discuss further!

What we offer: We make sure salaries are fair, competitive and aligned to individual roles, experience and responsibilities. We are also supportive of hybrid and flexible working and where applicable, offer life, medical and other benefits that support our employees’ financial and physical wellbeing, such as: • Competitive retirement savings • Company matched Share Incentive Plan • Life Assurance, Income Protection and Critical Illness • Medical plans/health assessments • Retailer and Wellbeing discounts • Competitive annual incentive plan
