Job Description

If you're energised by turning insight into impact, this could be your next challenge. We're looking for a leader who can quickly get stuck in, lead a high-performing analytics team, strengthen stakeholder engagement and turn data into meaningful action that improves commercial, operational and customer outcomes. At EDF, Success is Personal.

The Opportunity

As Manager of Performance and Insight, you'll lead a team of analysts and play a key role in shaping how both Sales performance and Customer Service Performance is measured, reported and acted upon across Business Supply. You’ll provide the visibility, analysis and challenge needed to drive better commercial, operational and customer outcomes while developing a high-performing, engaged team.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact within EDF as we support our journey towards An Electric Britain. We're looking for someone who can quickly make an impact, bring fresh thinking, challenge the status quo and help redesign and simplify reporting and insight outputs. You'll be identifying efficiencies, improving decision-making and creating a more effective performance management capability.

This is a hybrid role with flexibility on location. If you choose to work from an office, you'll be based from either our #London or #Exeter office, alongside home working.

Who You Are

We're looking for someone with the energy, curiosity and leadership capability to drive change in a fast-moving business environment. You'll be comfortable engaging senior stakeholders, setting priorities across competing demands and leading a team to deliver meaningful business outcomes.

To be shortlisted, as a minimum you need to offer:

  • Experience within energy, utilities or a similar B2B commercial environment
  • Experience using Power BI or other business intelligence and visualisation tools
  • Knowledge of data governance, data management and reporting best practice
  • Exposure to forecasting, planning or business performance management processes
  • Experience supporting transformation, process improvement or digital initiatives
  • Experience leading and developing teams, with strong stakeholder management where you can build trusted relationships and influence senior decision-makers through insight and analysis
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and delivering to deadlines in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading, coaching and developing a team of analysts, driving capability, accountability and data-led insight aligned to business priorities and performance goals
  • Maintaining and developing reports and dashboards, for timely and accurate performance insights to the business
  • Analysing and interpreting business performance data, identifying trends, risks and opportunities to deliver clear, actionable insight and support data-driven decision-making
  • Developing compelling performance narratives and root-cause analysis, translating complex data from multiple sources into meaningful recommendations for senior stakeholders and leadership forums
  • Ensuring improvement measures align to business strategy, operational objectives and customer outcomes
  • Working with finance and other operational teams to understand performance drivers and future trends
  • Promote strong governance and control, working with stakeholders to improve data quality, consistency and accessibility
  • Driving continuous improvement
  • Acting as a trusted partner to business leaders, across multiple levels of the organisation

Pay, Benefits and Culture

Alongside a salary from £57,600 per annum, potential for an annual bonus, and a market-leading pension scheme, your package will include customisable benefits such as electric vehicle leasing, discounted gym membership, life assurance, tech vouchers, experience days, and more.
