BaxEnergy provides software solutions for the visualization, analysis and optimization of cross-technology renewable energy power plants distributed all over the world. The company provides extensive domain expertise combined with the latest intelligent technology to develop next-gen asset management platforms. More recently, the company has developed technologies and products for energy trading, power forecasting, industrial battery storage management and other solutions for the management and monitoring of charging stations for electric vehicles. The monitoring platform, Energy Studio Pro®, enables its owner to fully monitor and remote control wind, photovoltaic, hydroelectric and geothermal power plants, as well as co-generation plants, gas turbines, thermoelectric power stations and electric charging stations.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Lead application engineering efforts for renewable energy technologies, providing critical insights and recommendations.
Lead the development, configuration and maintenance of new HMIs and data models visualizations.
Collaborate with the team to analyze and manage data from renewable energy technologies, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
Play a key role in engaging with customers to gather specifications for for configuration of the applications.
Utilize Python, SQL and Excel to expertly process and perform applications configuration.
Effectively identify networking or similar issues and inform technical stakeholders suggesting solutions.
Execute detailed technical project documentation analysis, organization and preparation
Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices through proactive research and curiosity.

- Expertise in Python for scripting purposes.

- Advanced knowledge of how SCADA, RTUs and PLCs works.
- Basic knowledge of SCADA Industrial Software (AVEVA, Wonderware, others)
- Advanced knowledge of OPC, IEC, Modbus and MQTT industrial data protocols.
- Familiarity with renewable technologies is a plus.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in the Application Engineering field.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Degree or high school diploma in computer engineering, information technology).
- Proven experience in application engineering or a related role. Focus on renewable energy data is a plus.
- Deep understanding of data storage and communication protocols.
- Proficiency in data interfaces analysis and HMIs configuration.
