Company Description

Regalgrid®'s technology uses a patented software where multiple users can share in real-time the energy generated and/or accumulated from renewable sources. Through this peer-to-peer platform, individuals can go beyond the traditional concept of photovoltaic panels and energy storage devices to manage their own energy. Indeed, users can exchange with or demand energy to the other users. Regalgrid platform uses the SNOCU (Smart NOde Control Unit) as innovative bidirectional gateway, which connects the photovoltaic systems' devices to a cloud application. The platform receives and analyses energy flows and state of charge of the distributed energy storages, giving commands and transforming the local system into an "active node" in a Smart Community.
