Job Description

Ready to lead the delivery of secure, business-critical network operations across a complex enterprise environment? Do you enjoy bringing people, priorities and technology together to achieve meaningful outcomes? At EDF, Success is Personal. As a Technical Delivery Manager - NetOps, you'll help shape reliable and secure services while building a career that's right for you.

The Opportunity

As a Technical Delivery Manager - NetOps, you'll play a key role in driving the delivery of network operations initiatives across multiple business units. Working within a federated environment, you'll coordinate priorities, manage delivery outcomes, remove blockers and help secure the technology services that support EDF's journey towards An Electric Britain.

You’ll join us on a salary starting of £65,440 per annum, with the potential for an annual bonus. This role offers flexibility on location, alongside hybrid ways of working that support both collaboration and work-life balance.

You'll work with stakeholders across engineering, product and portfolio teams while leading agile delivery practices that support predictable, high-quality outcomes. From PI Planning and capacity management to vendor coordination and delivery assurance, you'll have the opportunity to make a visible impact across the organisation.

Who You Are

We're looking for a Technical Delivery Manager - NetOps who enjoys leading delivery across complex technical environments and bringing together teams to achieve shared goals. You’re confident working with stakeholders at all levels and can balance agile delivery leadership with pragmatic project management. Are you experienced in...?

  • Proven delivery leadership across different federated teams, business units and complex environments
  • Strong agile coaching capabilities and the ability to embed pragmatic SAFe practices
  • Demonstrable experience of PI Planning, Sprint management, resource management and project management
  • Ability to transition solutions and technologies seamlessly to service and platform teams for ongoing support and operations
  • Technical expertise in Jira and Confluence for workload management and reporting

Although this is not essential, it would be advantageous if you have:

  • Familiarity with Networking principles such as LAN, Wan, wireless, mobile and voice technologies and systems. With a preference for Cisco and Meraki products.

  • Awareness of security engineering technologies including firewalls, email gateways, and exposure management tools.

To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Clearance (SC), which will, ordinarily, require you to have British residency for the last five years.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading the planning, coordination and delivery of NetOps initiatives across multiple business units
  • Facilitating agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, reviews, retrospectives and PI Planning
  • Managing delivery roadmaps, backlogs and resource capacity to balance demand and priorities
  • Coordinating delivery from external partners while managing risks, dependencies and governance requirements
  • Supporting the transition of solutions into operational support teams to ensure long-term service stability

Pay, Benefits and Culture

Alongside a starting salary of £65,440 per annum, potential for an annual bonus, and a market-leading pension scheme, your package will include customisable benefits such as electric vehicle leasing, discounted gym membership, life assurance, tech vouchers, experience days, and more.

At EDF, we believe there are multiple definitions of what it means to succeed. That’s why we offer you the freedom to develop a career that’s unique to you. Here, Success is Personal – it’s your journey, powered by us.
